This week we were introduced to how to identify and determine the "Main Idea" in reading passages. This will correlate with the writing unit in Ms. Byron's class. Students watched a Brain Pop movie, took notes on a Power Point presentation, and worked on related worksheets and activities on Main Idea.
Main Idea - is the big picture or the main point the passage is trying to come across.
