Coat Hangers Needed!

PARENTS, CALLING ALL PARENTS! Our new Novel Project involves the use of covered coat hangers! Do you have any in your closet? Let me take them off of your hands! I'm in need of 55 hangers and would love your support!

Friday Notes 9/24

Happy Friday!

We are moving along nicely! This week we had great Civil War presentations and they will be on display downstairs starting next week! Our field trip to the Atlanta History Center was awesome! The kids really enjoyed themselves and we learned about Abraham Lincoln. Our novel is coming to a close and the students are LOVING it! The journey of Samuel and Harrison is quite captivating. Our class will be the first class to take the online Accelerated Reader Novel Test as a end of the novel test! I'm very excited about this. Our next novel, Sounder is due in class on the 27th! This novel will follow our SS curriculum as we move into the Reconstruction Era. Please continue to check the blog and Engrade online grade book so you can stay informed! The online grade book will be updated this weekend, so please check it early next week.
